Nelson Jenkins is the founder and principal of LumenArch (Lumen Architecture), an architectural lighting design consultancy he established in Manhattan in 2005. The studio has designed lighting for museums, hotels, embassies, performing arts centers, and other institutional and commercial projects internationally, most achieving LEED certification. Jenkins holds degrees in architecture and fine arts from Rhode Island School of Design, is a registered architect in New York, and teaches lighting design as adjunct faculty at Parsons School of Design.
