Ceramic sculptor working between studios at the Brooklyn Navy Yard and Hudson, New York. Cherubini builds vessel-based sculptural forms that challenge the traditional function of pottery; her work is held in collections including MIT, the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, and the Museum of Arts and Design. She is represented by Friedman Benda in New York and SEPTEMBER Gallery in Kinderhook. Born in Boston in 1970, Cherubini holds a BFA in ceramics from Rhode Island School of Design (1993) and an MFA in visual arts from New York University (1998). Her solo exhibitions include the Institute of Contemporary Art Philadelphia, the Jersey City Museum, and Pérez Art Museum Miami, and her exhibition "Hotel Roma" ran at Friedman Benda's New York gallery from January to February 2026. She has received the Louis Comfort Tiffany Grant and an NEA Travel Grant.
