Pawel Woelke

Pawel Woelke is a Managing Principal at Thornton Tomasetti and co-leader of the firm's Applied Science practice as well as its UK & Australia region, based out of the New York office. He specializes in computational mechanics and predictive failure modeling, and has led vulnerability studies and mitigation designs for critical infrastructure, including bridges, tunnels and buildings, in the New York metropolitan area against explosive, impact and thermal threats. He leads development of VistaMat, the firm's advanced material-modeling software, and is affiliated with Columbia University.
