Peter Marino is the founder of Peter Marino Architect, a New York-based practice he established in 1978 that has grown into a roughly 160-person global firm known for combining architecture with interior design. Before founding his own practice, he worked at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the office of George Nelson, and I.M. Pei/Cossutta & Ponte. His portfolio includes luxury retail flagships for Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., and Bulgari, as well as the Cheval Blanc hotel in Paris. He holds an architecture degree from Cornell University and received 22 AIA citations; in 2021 he founded the Peter Marino Art Foundation in Southampton, New York.
