Peter Marino Architect PLLC is a New York City architecture and design firm founded in 1978 by Peter Marino, FAIA, a Queens-born architect and Cornell University graduate who began his career at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, George Nelson, and I.M. Pei. The roughly 160-person firm, headquartered at 150 East 58th Street in Manhattan with additional offices in Philadelphia and Southampton, is known for luxury retail and residential architecture, having designed boutiques and flagship stores for brands including Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Calvin Klein, and Ermenegildo Zegna, beginning with Barneys New York in 1985. Marino is also known for integrating site-specific commissioned artworks into his architectural projects.
