Rafael Prieto

New York-based designer and founder of Savvy Studio (2012), a design practice spanning branding, interiors, and furniture with locations in New York and Mexico City. Prieto also co-runs Marrow Project, a lighting studio with artist Loup Sarion, and has shown furniture and sculptural work at Emma Scully Gallery and design fair MASA. He was named to Sight Unseen's 2024 American Design Hot List. Savvy Studio's Mexico City office is led by Executive Director Bernardo Dominguez, and the practice's branding and interiors work includes projects for Casa Bosques, spanning its Pensión hotel, chocolate line, and bookstore, as well as work for the footwear brand Birkenstock 1774.
