Emma Scully Gallery

Gallery & ShowroomEst. 2021

Upper East Side gallery founded by Emma Scully in early 2021 inside a 19th-century Manhattan townhouse, commissioning and curating contemporary furniture, lighting, and decorative-art objects. The gallery represents a roster of emerging and established designers working across materials including cast iron, ceramics, and recycled plastics. Scully previously worked in the Metropolitan Museum's American Wing, in Christie's European decorative arts department, and as a design dealer for Rose Tarlow in Los Angeles before opening her own space. Represented designers have included Chen Chen and Kai Williams, the Georgian duo Rooms Studio, ceramicist Simone Bodmer-Turner, and EJR Barnes, and the gallery has commissioned a limited reedition of Jane Atfield's RCP2 chair made from recycled plastic. It has since exhibited at Design Miami.
