Simone Bodmer-Turner

Ceramic artist and designer who founded her studio in Brooklyn in 2018, producing hand-built vessels, furniture, lighting, and plaster installations in biomorphic, sculptural forms. She relocated her studio to rural western Massachusetts in 2021, and in 2024 collaborated with Emma Scully Gallery on 'A Year Without a Kiln,' an exhibition of work in bronze, wood, and lacquer developed after she was unable to move her kiln. She remains represented in New York by Emma Scully Gallery.
