Rafael Stein, AIA, is a principal at Urbahn Architects in New York, which he joined in the mid-1980s and where he became principal in 1997. A graduate of The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, he works across the firm's practice areas with a focus on business development, has led Urbahn's first design-build projects, and manages complex multi-property capital planning programs for higher education, K-12, and institutional clients.
