Venezuelan-born architect and co-founder, with Ariel Ashe, of New York firm Ashe + Leandro, established in 2008 after the pair met working together at Pierce Allen. Leandro studied architecture in Venezuela before earning a Master's in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University. His work is known for a self-described 'Tropical Modernism' aesthetic, drawing on poured concrete, open cross-ventilated layouts, and art and heirloom furniture from his native Venezuela.
