Founder & Director, Volker Haug Studio at The Future Perfect

Volker Haug is a German-born, Melbourne-based lighting designer who founded Volker Haug Studio in 2005 after an apprenticeship under Australian lighting pioneer Geoffrey Mance. The Brunswick studio designs and hand-fabricates decorative lighting in brass and blown opal glass, working with a team of about twenty makers including a jeweller and a picture framer. Notable installations include the oversized OMG chandelier at Melbourne's Ian Potter Centre. Haug is represented in New York by The Future Perfect.
