Richard Snyder

Richard Snyder is a furniture designer and sculptor represented in New York by Superhouse. A BFA graduate of Boston's School of the Museum of Fine Arts, he spent seventeen years exhibiting art furniture with SoHo's Art et Industrie gallery during the 1980s downtown New York art-furniture movement, working across cabinetry, sculpture, painting, and industrial design. His pieces are held in the Art Institute of Chicago's permanent collection, and he has lectured at RISD, the New School, and SUNY Purchase.
