Ron Arad

Ron Arad is a London-based designer, artist, and architect represented in New York by Friedman Benda. Founder of One Off Ltd. and later Ron Arad Studio, he is known for experimental furniture and objects in tubular steel, vacuum-formed and vacuum-packed materials, and cast bronze, including the Rover Chair and Transformer Chair. He heads the Design Products department at London's Royal College of Art.
