Ryan Mahoney is a partner and Creative Director of Workstead Buildings & Interiors, overseeing the Brooklyn-based firm's interiors and building commissions since joining in 2010. He holds a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an M.Arch from the Rhode Island School of Design. Before design, he worked in theater production, building sets for Chicago's Redmoon Theatre, and after RISD designed coastal residences for a New England studio. His set-design background informs his collaborative approach to detailed, handcrafted interiors.
