Founder & Principal at Steven Holl Architects

Steven Holl is the founder of Steven Holl Architects, established in 1977 after he studied architecture at the University of Washington and the Architectural Association in London. He has taught at Columbia University's GSAPP since 1981 and received the AIA Gold Medal in 2012 for lifetime achievement. His work includes the Bloch Building addition to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, the REACH expansion at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and the Hunters Point Community Library in Queens.
