Sungwoo Kim, KIRA, SBA, NL, is a principal and co-founder of N.E.E.D. Architecture, a collaborative practice established in 2007 with offices in New York City and Seoul. The firm gained international recognition through its winning entry for the Emerging New York Architects Award in 2008. N.E.E.D. works across architecture, urban design, landscape, and interiors, focusing on mid-range projects that require both the expertise to realize large-scale work and the flexibility of a small office.
