Principal of WALD Studio (William Armstrong Lighting Design), a Manhattan-based architectural and theatrical lighting design firm. Armstrong moved from theatrical lighting design, including Broadway and off-Broadway productions, into architectural work, and has led lighting for retail flagships, hospitality venues, cultural landmarks, and private residences, including projects for Tom Ford and the Sabyasachi New York store.
