Ted Porter

Ted Porter, AIA, is the principal and founder of Ted Porter Architecture in Manhattan, established in 1994 (formerly Ryall Porter Architects). He earned a Master of Architecture from Yale University and an undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University, and worked with Cesar Pelli and Associates during graduate school before joining I.M. Pei and Partners, where he worked on international projects. Porter has taught at the School of Visual Arts and NYC College of Technology, and serves as Co-Chairman of the NYC AIA Design for Aging Committee and on the Van Alen Institute's Program Leadership Council.
