Thomas McKay
ArchitectFounder, Principal Architect at McKay Architecture/Design
Thomas McKay, RA, AIA, is the founder and principal architect of McKay Architecture/Design, established in New York in 2003. He holds a BFA/B.A. from Rhode Island School of Design (1984) and a Master's in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University (1993). He worked in Milan from 1987 to 1993 on European and Asian commercial projects, then co-founded MSM Architects in 1994 before starting his own firm. He taught design at Parsons School of Design from 1999 to 2014 and is a registered architect in New York, New Jersey, and Florida. His clients have included IDEO, Ian Schrager Company, Hugo Boss, and David Yurman.
