Founding Partner at Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects

Tod Williams is a founding partner of Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects, the New York firm he established with Billie Tsien in 1986 after they began working together in 1977. Born in Detroit, he holds undergraduate, MFA, and Master of Architecture degrees from Princeton University. The firm's institutional work includes the American Folk Art Museum, additions to the Phoenix Art Museum, and the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center. In 2013 Williams received the National Medal of Arts, and the firm has received the AIA Architecture Firm Award.
