Walter Hartnett

Walter Hartnett is a Senior Principal and leader of Thornton Tomasetti's global Facade Engineering practice, based in New York. A structural engineer, he focuses on the design, analysis, planning and implementation of facade systems in both new construction and adaptive reuse, and has consulted on building codes and performance-based design standards for agencies including the GSA and Department of Homeland Security. He holds an M.S. in Civil Engineering from Columbia University and a B.S. in Engineering and Economics from Trinity College.
