Winka Dubbeldam

Winka Dubbeldam is the founder and principal of Archi-Tectonics, a New York architecture studio she established in 1994 after earning a master's degree from the Academy of Architecture in Rotterdam and a second master's in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University in 1992. She has taught architecture at the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia, Cornell, and Harvard, chaired the Stuart Weitzman School of Design at Penn from 2013 to 2023, and became director and CEO of SCI-Arc in 2025. She is the author of "Strange Objects, New Solids and Massive Things" (2022) and "Monsters & Mutants: Explorations in the Architecture-Nature Continuum" (2025).
