Shant Madjarian

Shant Madjarian founded Juniper Design Group in 2011 after 15 years in investment banking and finance in New York, including as a vice president in Credit Suisse's M&A group, drawing on early exposure to his family's four-decade lighting manufacturing business in Montreal. Juniper designs hand-finished solid-brass and LED architectural lighting, manufactured at its Connecticut factory. Early collaborations with designers David Irwin and Peter Bristol produced the company's M Lamp, carried by the MoMA Design Store and Cooper Hewitt, and the THIN Task Lamp; clients have included the coworking space The Wing. Juniper operates a SoHo showroom that anchors the brand's New York presence.
