Preservationist James Russiello leads a walk through the West End-Collegiate Historic District, beginning near the Ansonia at Broadway and 73rd Street. The tour examines speculatively built rowhouses by Clarence True, Lamb & Rich, and C.P.H. Gilbert in French, Italian, and Flemish Renaissance revival styles, and traces how developers and civic groups shaped housing for the Upper West Side's affluent residents.
