About
Organized by SFMOMA and adapted for its New York presentation, the exhibition traces a century of design shaping how people experience music, from Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni's Brionvega radio-phonograph and Dieter Rams' Braun electronics to Milton Glaser's Dylan poster and the iPod. Stockholm studio teenage engineering designed interactive seating and playback stations with era-spanning New York playlists, and the show incorporates Devon Turnbull's large-scale listening-room installation within its galleries.
