About
The Costume Institute's spring show pairs roughly 200 garments with artworks spanning more than 5,000 years to examine how the dressed body has been depicted across the Met's collections, organized around themes including the naked, classical, pregnant, aging, anatomical, and mortal body. The exhibition inaugurates the department's new 12,000-square-foot galleries adjacent to the Great Hall, designed by Peterson Rich Office.
