Dark Matter U: Justice, Pedagogy, Design
Oct 1, 2026 – Mar 27, 2027
About
Inaugural major U.S. exhibition on Dark Matter U (DMU), described by its organizers as the first BIPOC-led transdisciplinary network in the built environment, formed after 2020 to reshape design education and practice through what the network calls a liberatory framework. Curated by network co-leads Venesa Alicea-Chuqui, Jerome Haferd, and Sophie Weston Chien, the show unfolds in three parts: a history of DMU's work to date, its current initiatives, and a provocation for the network's future direction.
