Walking tour with architectural historian Matt Postal through some of Manhattan's more unusual residential pockets, including Sniffen Court, the borough's first historic district, Beekman Place, converted carriage houses, Tudor City, Turtle Bay Gardens, and a constructivist penthouse by Paul Rudolph. The route highlights how these enclaves broke from the standard street grid and rowhouse pattern.
