Joint opening for three exhibitions debuting the same evening: Humanist Modernity, on architects Maciej Nowicki and Stanisława Sandecka-Nowicka; Dark Matter U: Justice, Pedagogy, Design, on the BIPOC-led network reshaping design education; and Why Design?, showcasing K-12 student work from the Center's Learning By Design:NY program. The evening includes remarks from participating curators and organizers alongside light refreshments, and serves as the informal kickoff to Archtober, the city's architecture and design festival.
