Families use a spinner wheel to pair random adjectives — grumpy, sleepy — with everyday objects, then rework the object's design to match, drawing on pieces from the museum's collection for inspiration. The drop-in session requires no registration and is included with admission, with adaptive materials and sensory supports available. It ties into the Design Across Time galleries showcasing the Smithsonian's design collection.
