Curator Luke Baker pairs archival material from designers Joe D'Urso and Ward Bennett, drawing on MillerKnoll's archives and private collections to trace a shared minimalist, "total design" ethos rooted in Art Nouveau, the Vienna Secession, and Arts and Crafts influences. On view are D'Urso's original Knoll sketches and a previously unseen prototype dining chair, alongside rare Bennett pieces made with Geiger, including a wicker 1060-C Sled Chair. The show coincides with Phaidon's reissue of its Ward Bennett monograph.
