About
A pioneer in applying new technology to couture, Iris van Herpen draws on biomimicry, fractal geometry, and neuroscience to build sculptural garments from unconventional materials. More than 140 haute couture creations spanning her career are placed alongside contemporary artworks, scientific artifacts, and natural history specimens that trace her influences, in the exhibition's North American debut, curated by Matthew Yokobosky with Imani Williford.
