Survey of Kim Gordon's visual practice from 2007 to the present, anchored by the newly commissioned film Jeanetta and Alex, featuring poet Jeanetta Rich and artist Alex Hubbard, with a guitar used as an instrument of staged seduction and a score composed by Gordon. Other works include fabric paintings hand-painted with Los Angeles neighborhood names, iPhone-shot inkjet prints of temporary hotel interiors, and rapid tracing-paper sketches from her Airbnb series, together examining how intimacy and private experience get formatted for public address.
