Organized by the Vitra Design Museum and curated by Glenn Adamson with assistant curator Marcella Hanika, the exhibition traces Nike's five-decade evolution from a small Oregon running company into a global cultural force through experimental prototypes, original design studies, and one-off samples alongside well-known shoe collaborations. Among the rarities on view is an early mechanical Shox prototype from 1981. Exhibition design is by JA Projects, with graphics by Daniel Streat of Visual Fields.
