Built around a gift of 56 newly acquired works from collectors Ron Porter and Joe Price alongside 22 pieces already in MAD's holdings, the exhibition surveys studio and contemporary art jewelry collected and worn across the couple's four-decade relationship. It frames the works through queer perspectives on adornment, identity, and history, spanning pieces from the 1950s to today. An accompanying audio series, "OUT and Aloud," features 15 recordings of artists, collectors, and allies discussing individual pieces via the museum's mobile guide.
