Thu, Sep 10, 2026 · 6 PM ET
About
Continuing-education program on 'means safety,' the public-health approach to suicide prevention that focuses on limiting access to lethal means, applied here to guardrail and barrier design in dense urban settings. Speakers include suicide-prevention researcher Jill Harkavy-Friedman of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Columbia psychiatrist Michael Grunebaum, NYC Health Department safety-initiatives director Kelli Peterman, and WXY founding principal Claire Weisz. The session combines a presentation with a moderated roundtable discussion.
