The Artist's Eye series' latest installment is co-curated for the first time by two National Academicians: architect and theorist Stan Allen and visual artist Polly Apfelbaum, a married couple whose decades of dialogue and creative exchange inform the selections. It is also the series' first edition curated by an architect, drawing on the Academy's collection to explore conflict, memory, and resilience. The opening reception introduces the exhibition on its debut evening.
