DJ and librarian Ella Hussle built the series from CDs inherited from her late father, using each session to explore music, memory, and preservation through close listening. The July session centers on Kelela's 2017 album Take Me Apart, played on vintage Klipsch La Scala speakers at Head Hi's listening space in Bushwick.
