About
Visitors step into two of the mews' 1860s carriage houses, now home to a private theatrical society founded in 1918 and said to be the oldest continuously operating club of its kind in the country. The tour takes in the club's Green Room and Prohibition-era liquor lockers along with an archive of theatrical art and memorabilia, and closes with refreshments and a surprise performance. Sniffen Court's ten brick carriage houses, tucked off a hidden courtyard, are listed on the National Register of Historic Places; steep stairs are involved throughout.
