About
A Noguchi Museum educator leads this outdoor walk to two of Isamu Noguchi's public commissions in the Financial District: the circular Sunken Garden he designed for Chase Manhattan Bank Plaza in 1961–64, an homage to Kyoto's Ryōan-ji temple garden, and the tilted steel Red Cube from 1968 at 140 Broadway. The route ties into the concurrent Noguchi's New York exhibition on the artist's public projects around the city.
