Lighting MakerEst. 1983Brooklyn lighting restoration and fabrication studio founded in 1983 by Dawn Ladd, now based in Bushwick. Aurora Lampworks restores and replicates historic fixtures for landmark buildings, museums, and institutions including St. Paul's Chapel and the Brooklyn Public Library, and produces its own small-run Aurora Collection and Foraged Series integrating LED technology. The UL-certified, WBE-certified shop employs designers, blacksmiths, glassmakers, and conservators.
