Borealis Lighting Studio (BR+A Consulting Engineers)

Human-centric lighting design studio operating within BR+A Consulting Engineers, a multi-office MEP engineering firm with a New York office in Midtown Manhattan. Borealis Lighting Studio designs lighting for healthcare, laboratory, higher-education, civic, performance, and landscape projects, led by New York-based Lighting Studio Director C. Brooke Silber. Silber joined BR+A as Lighting Studio Director in January 2019, bringing more than two decades of experience as an architectural and landscape lighting designer; she holds a Lighting Certified (LC) credential and LEED AP status, and her career portfolio includes work on the New York State Capitol and the Thurgood Marshall Courthouse. BR+A operates 15 offices across the United States plus Toronto, and the studio uses BIM modeling, daylight analysis, and custom luminaire design on its projects.
