Bower Studios

Brooklyn furniture and mirror studio founded in 2013 by Danny Giannella and Tammer Hijazi, based at the Greenpoint Manufacturing and Design Center. The studio works in wood, brass, glass, stone, marble, and acrylic to produce furniture, lighting, and decorative objects, with mirrors as a core focus, and is represented by The Future Perfect. Giannella and Hijazi met while working at Brooklyn furniture studio Uhuru, and were later joined by Jeffrey Renz as a third partner overseeing development and sales. Early collections such as the Pick-Up Stool and Key Target were shown at Brooklyn Designs, and the studio has since produced commissioned work including benches for Nike, routers for Google, and furniture for West Elm. In 2020 Bower collaborated with designer Camilla Staerk and Helena Christensen on a limited mirror series called BOWERx.
