Charlap Hyman & Herrero

Architecture and design firm founded in 2014 by Adam Charlap Hyman and Andre Herrero, who met as students at the Rhode Island School of Design -- Charlap Hyman in furniture design, Herrero in architecture. Based in New York with additional offices in Los Angeles and Mexico City, the studio is known for a quietly surrealist approach spanning residences, galleries, and stage design, including opera sets for Tristan und Isolde at the Santa Fe Opera and exhibitions for Tina Kim Gallery, alongside product collaborations with Vitra and Patterson Flynn.
