Furniture & Objects StudioEst. 2012Furniture and object design studio founded in 2012 by Stephanie Beamer, Crystal Ellis, and Hillary Petrie, with a Tribeca showroom and a workshop at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The studio designs handcrafted furniture, lighting, and objects in wood, brass, bronze, stone, and other natural materials, produced in-house and with local fabricators. The three founders met as architecture students at Washington University in St. Louis and won Best New Designer at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in 2012, later appearing on Forbes' 2014 "30 Under 30" list. Egg Collective designed the seating area for the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center, home of the New York City Ballet, and has produced a licensed furniture collection for Design Within Reach, including pieces such as the Harvey Mirror and Morrison storage line.
