In Common With

Lighting MakerEst. 2018

In Common With is a lighting and object design studio founded in 2018 by Felicia Hung and Nick Ozemba, with a Manhattan showroom and a Brooklyn production studio. The studio designs ceramic and glass sconces, chandeliers, and shades that combine traditional craft techniques with contemporary manufacturing, collaborating with artisans and material specialists. Hung and Ozemba met in the furniture design program at the Rhode Island School of Design and work with metalsmiths, ceramists, and glassblowers who fabricate components before final assembly in Brooklyn. In fall 2024 they opened Quarters, an 8,000-square-foot concept space in a Tribeca loft combining a showroom with a café and wine bar. Their lighting has appeared in interiors by designers Giancarlo Valle and Tali Roth.
