Brooklyn Navy Yard decorative-painting studio producing plaster skim-coating, high-gloss lacquered rooms, lime-washed walls, gilding, glazing, faux bois, and marbelizing for high-end residential interiors, working directly with designers and architects. Founded in 1987 in Philadelphia and relocated to New York in 1990, the firm is now led by principal Jennie Schueler from its Building 30 workshop at the Navy Yard.
