Lighting Maker

Ridezign is a lighting design studio at the Brooklyn Navy Yard founded by Ridima Jain and Manav Singla. Its debut Tesser collection turns recycled ocean plastic into 3D-printed lamps with Fibonacci-derived proportions, drawing on the glow of New York's illuminated skyline. The collection won a 2025 LIT Lighting Design Award and is carried at the MoMA Design Store. Jain and Singla, both Indian industrial designers, 3D-print the Tesser pieces in Brooklyn from recycled PLA and PETG, and the studio showed the collection at ICFF's Launch Pad program for emerging designers in 2025.
