Studio B.C. Joshua

Studio B.C. Joshua is the design practice of Blake Carlson-Joshua, based between London and Minneapolis. Launched through Colony's Designers' Residency program, the studio creates hand-painted, sculptural furniture -- seating, tables, and light fixtures -- exploring African diaspora design traditions and imagery drawn from the Harlem Renaissance. Its debut collection, Harlem Cottage, is represented in New York through Colony, a cooperative design gallery. Represented in New York by Colony.
