Toshiko Mori Architect (TMA) is a New York City-based architecture practice founded by Toshiko Mori, FAIA, who also serves as the Robert P. Hubbard Professor in the Practice of Architecture at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design. Over more than three decades, TMA has designed cultural, institutional, residential, and museum projects that combine rigorous conceptual thinking with sensitivity to site, material, and context. Notable work includes the Thread Artists' Residency and Cultural Center and the Fass School and Teachers' Residence, both in Senegal and built in partnership with the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation and American Friends of Le Korsa; the renovation of the Brooklyn Public Library's Central Branch; and the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs at Brown University. TMA has been named to Architectural Digest's AD100 and has received AIA New York and international design awards for its work.
